Jewish Stories – Shared Values – Rabbi Marcy G. Delbick

On Sunday, February 23, Rabbi Delbrick provided insight into how we share more than a “sacred space” at the synagogue here on our Island.  Her message resounded many of our shared values/beliefs ….”all people are equal, all people are due respect and honor, all people matter.”

Shalom,

(Hebrew: שָׁלוֹם shalom; also spelled as sholom, sholem, sholoim, shulem) is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquility and can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye.
